Key Responsibilities
- Act as a primary resource and potentially lead junior members within your specialty area.
- Manage your own workload, development, and time while potentially directing and assigning tasks to others.
- Support projects and departmental activities by offering guidance, training, and possibly serving as a lead team member.
- Establish yourself as a subject matter expert, effectively addressing routine complex problems.
- Complete tasks independently, choosing suitable methods, and oversee team task completion.
- Ensure technical soundness by reviewing non-standard work and possibly assessing others' contributions.
- Comply with Pfizer’s standards, policies, and culture, influencing peers and mentoring colleagues.
- Oversee the storage, security, and record-keeping of all drug movements, especially controlled substances during manufacture and distribution.
- Perform quarterly import and internal audits, verifying adherence to SOPs, cGMP, safety standards, quality, and documentation practices.
- Coordinate inventory receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch activities, manage finished goods dispatch, and identify operator training needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
- Minimum of six years of relevant experience.
- Knowledgeable of Import/Export laws and regulations.
- Experienced in warehouse or inventory management.
- Proficient with data entry and inventory control software.
- Capable of operating material handling equipment including forklifts, conveyors, cranes, hand carts, and power trucks.
- Strong organizational skills for managing inventory receipts and dispatches.
- Familiarity with cGMP, SOPs, and plant safety protocols.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Certification in relevant functional areas.
- Prior experience in pharmaceutical or cGMP-compliant environments.
- Expertise in organizing inventory receipts.
- Meticulous attention to documentation accuracy.
- Basic knowledge of common AI tools and enthusiasm for exploring productivity enhancements via AI.
