Job description
Overview
Goldman Sachs' Relationship Lending Group (RLG) plays a pivotal role in the firm's relationship-based lending efforts. The team manages the underwriting, structuring, execution, and advisory aspects of transactions requiring the firm's capital, including various types of loans such as unsecured and secured revolvers, asset-based lending, term loans, bridge loans, delayed draw term loans, and letter of credit facilities. These transactions cover a range of activities including primary loan syndication, refinancing, amendments, secondary market purchases, and bilateral lending.
Key Responsibilities

Collaboration with diverse teams such as Investment Banking, Investment Grade Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, Legal, and Credit Risk Management along with external parties like syndication desks, clients, and legal counsel is fundamental. You will also be responsible for creating ad hoc analyses, presentations, and regular reports for senior management and internal stakeholders.

- A minimum of 2 years of financial services experience, including internships.
- Demonstrated motivation and adaptability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and high-pressure environment.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Technical aptitude to analyze data and summarize findings into impactful presentations.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with internal teams, syndication banks, and clients.
- Attention to detail, sound judgment, and integrity.
- Interest and experience in applying AI technologies.
- A keen enthusiasm for financial markets.
