Overview
This is a remote hourly contract opportunity for an Associate Recruiter based in Canada. The role offers compensation of $15 to $20 per hour and is suited to someone available for 10 to 40 hours each week.
What you will do
- Assist with the full recruitment cycle, including candidate sourcing and coordination through the onboarding stage.
- Find and connect with suitable candidates using sourcing methods and market research.
- Handle several hiring projects at the same time while keeping work accurate and efficient.
- Keep communication clear and professional with applicants and internal teams during the hiring process.
- Update candidate information and recruitment records correctly in applicant tracking systems.
- Work alongside the recruiting team to support a positive candidate journey.
- Keep building knowledge of recruiting practices and contribute ideas to improve workflows.
Requirements
- Previous background in recruitment, talent sourcing, or a closely related people-oriented role.
- Strong planning, organization, and project coordination skills, with a sharp eye for detail.
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
- Good analytical ability, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to juggle multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
- Comfort with remote work and digital collaboration or recruiting platforms.
- A proactive mindset, self-drive, and willingness to learn in a team-based setting.
