Position Overview
We are seeking an Associate Product Manager to contribute to the design, development, and delivery of our Childcare Center Management platform, which encompasses billing, staffing, enrollment, and classroom operations. This role emphasizes leveraging artificial intelligence to enhance product development and incorporate AI-driven features improving customer workflows. The successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing user experience, boosting engagement metrics, and supporting the launch and continuous improvement of AI-powered functionalities.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, and Design teams to develop impactful product features addressing user needs.
- Transform product strategies into actionable user stories, detailed requirements, and acceptance criteria.
- Manage feature workflows end-to-end from discovery to delivery.
- Utilize AI tools to expedite product development processes, including defining requirements, prototyping, and documentation.
- Support the evolution of AI-powered features by assessing outputs, collecting user feedback, and enhancing user experience.
- Engage with customers and internal teams to validate ideas and prioritize features effectively.
- Maintain and manage the product backlog, balancing new features, bug fixes, and technical debt resolution.
- Establish, monitor, and analyze product metrics to guide decision-making and measure impact.
- Facilitate experimentation and validation of features through data analysis and user insights.
- Deliver consistent, quality product increments swiftly within an agile environment.
- Communicate product updates and complex technical concepts clearly to audiences with varying expertise.
- Participate in agile ceremonies, advocating for customer perspectives.
- Drive product discovery via research, competitive analysis, and examination of new AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Support teams to gather feedback for ongoing improvements.
- Develop knowledge base content, marketing materials, and assist in training customer-facing teams.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience delivering SaaS or consumer software products within cross-functional teams.
- At least 2 years working in agile/scrum environments in product management or related roles.
- Proficient in leveraging AI tools to assist product development tasks such as requirements gathering, prototyping, and analysis.
- A strong enthusiasm for AI and machine learning applications in enhancing product features and workflows.
- Experience utilizing data-driven insights to inform product decisions is preferred.
- Excellent collaboration abilities to work effectively with Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Product divisions.
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Self-motivated with a proven ability to contribute individually while thriving in a collaborative team setting.
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred; technical or design background is advantageous.
- Experience in sectors like edtech, early childhood education, payment systems, or operational SaaS is considered a plus.
