Associate Product Manager

Overview

redBus is the largest online bus ticketing platform in India, serving millions of users across over 150,000 routes worldwide. A significant portion of its growth derives from ecosystems beyond its direct control, including B2B2C tools, partner APIs, white-label solutions, OTAs, and integrations with super-apps. This position requires a blend of classic product management capabilities and strong technical expertise.

Responsibilities

The Associate Product Manager will manage the roadmap for partner and distribution platforms, balancing immediate product needs with long-term technical initiatives. Key duties include authoring PRDs, API specs, and wireframes, defining success metrics, collaborating across engineering, design, sales, CRM, payments, and external partners to align and prioritize product goals. You will engage in technical discussions on system design, data pipelines, and integrations while driving data-driven decisions through A/B testing and analytics dashboards. Additionally, you will oversee quality assurance and internal training for new feature rollouts.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years experience merging software engineering and product management functions, preferably a Bachelor’s in Engineering with strong technical proficiency in APIs, system architectures, and SQL analytics. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum practices and experience with experimentation tools is necessary. Excellent communication skills for translating technical details into business terms and vice versa are essential.
