About the Role
This role supports strategic initiatives aimed at driving business expansion and operational excellence for a global leader in tools and outdoor products in North America. The Associate Manager works closely with diverse teams including sales, marketing, finance, product, and supply chain to translate business objectives into actionable strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive strategic operations initiatives aligned with business and commercial priorities for the North American market.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as sales, marketing, finance, product management, supply chain, and channel operations to ensure cohesive execution.
- Participate in yearly and long-term business planning by developing actionable plans and tracking progress.
- Support commercialization efforts by identifying process improvements and enhancing operational efficiency.
- Manage business rhythms including reviews, leadership briefings, performance tracking, and cross-functional meetings.
- Create and update dashboards, reports, and performance metrics related to strategic and operational goals.
- Analyze business data, market trends, and internal insights to uncover opportunities, risks, and provide recommendations.
- Lead and coordinate projects across departments, ensuring milestones and deliverables are met timely.
- Prepare presentations and summaries to aid leadership in decision-making.
- Maintain accountability by tracking project actions, follow-ups, and deliverables.
- Work collaboratively to resolve challenges and support seamless initiative implementation.
- Leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to improve workflows and boost operational productivity.
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Operations, Finance, or related disciplines.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in strategic operations, business operations, sales operations, project management, commercial strategy, or related functions.
- Demonstrated ability supporting cross-functional projects and working within matrix organizations.
- Strong analytical aptitude for interpreting data, spotting trends, and making actionable recommendations.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, effective across diverse stakeholder groups.
- Proficient project management and organization skills to handle concurrent priorities.
- Ability to foster relationships and influence collaboratively across teams.
- Detail-oriented and proactive with a problem-solving mindset.
- Adaptability to fast-paced environments with dynamic priorities.
- Results-focused with a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with reporting tools or BI platforms is advantageous.
