Role Overview
The Associate Manager of Brand Marketing plays a critical role in facilitating go-to-market strategies, overseeing project management, and ensuring seamless collaboration across multiple teams to deliver on brand initiatives efficiently and effectively. This position manages detailed timelines, milestones, and workflows across marketing functions, closely coordinating with Sales, Sales Capabilities, Digital Marketing, eCommerce, and Creative/Design teams to ensure all initiatives align with business priorities and meet deadlines for retailer activation.
The role involves translating brand strategies into actionable plans, sustaining momentum on projects, and acting as the primary brand liaison for commercial and sales-related deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute go-to-market plans for brand initiatives including product launches, marketing campaigns, sampling programs, and retail events.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive GTM timelines, workback schedules, and track important milestones to ensure project completion.
- Coordinate and align efforts among various internal teams including Brand, Marketing, Operations, and Sales for smooth campaign execution.
- Act as the day-to-day project manager for brand-led projects, anticipating and mitigating risks or schedule conflicts.
- Manage workflows related to artwork updates and change control processes.
- Serve as the main point of contact for Sales regarding brand timelines, deliverables such as retail displays and digital marketing assets.
- Ensure all launch materials are finalized well before retailer deadlines and maintain detailed launch trackers and readiness reports.
- Translate brand plans into compelling sales narratives supported by brand analytics and consumer insights.
- Own the complete marketing and GTM calendar, ensuring priority alignment and process optimization.
- Continuously refine workflows to create scalable and repeatable processes that enhance operational efficiency.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in brand marketing, marketing operations, or project management roles.
- Demonstrated experience supporting go-to-market launches or marketing campaigns.
- Strong skills in organization and project management; experience with Wrike project management software is advantageous.
- Prior involvement with Sales teams and supporting commercial execution is preferred.
- Knowledge of syndicated data platforms such as Nielsen, IRI, or Power BI to inform strategic decisions.
- Background in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and retail or shopper marketing preferred.
- Highly organized, proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Effective communicator able to collaborate broadly across teams.
