Associate Director of Design

Position Overview

People Group Arabia is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Design to lead design efforts for a significant high-rise project in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. This role demands leadership in orchestrating design activities across a complex and expansive development.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the comprehensive design process for a large-scale, complex building project.
• Collaborate closely with consultants, contractors, stakeholders, and internal project teams to ensure seamless design integration and progress.
• Manage design programs, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and oversee technical design reviews.
• Direct consultant engagements and maintain alignment with project timelines and quality standards.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• A degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is mandatory.
• Robust expertise in design management with significant experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams on major projects.
• Proven track record of delivering complex and large-scale developments, ideally involving high-rise, hospitality, or commercial facilities.
• Previous experience managing consultants, design programs, and conducting thorough technical reviews.
• Demonstrated effectiveness in stakeholder management and leadership roles.
• Experience working within Saudi Arabia or the Middle East is an advantage.
