Job description
About the Role
Temasek Foundation backs a wide spectrum of initiatives that bring people together, strengthen communities, safeguard the environment, and build capabilities across Singapore, Asia and beyond. Its programmes are powered by philanthropic endowments from Temasek and are designed to create meaningful outcomes for people and communities today and for future generations.
The Community Networks and Partnerships team works to activate community energy through partnerships and networks, helping to grow a culture of care and inclusion across Singapore. Its focus includes supporting grassroots movements, expanding inclusive opportunities for persons with disabilities, and contributing to a workforce that is prepared for the future, including vulnerable groups.
This role suits a proactive professional with strong connections across the public, private, people, and philanthropic sectors, along with sharp analytical and critical thinking abilities. The position requires experience in programme delivery, partnerships, and stakeholder engagement, and will be responsible for planning, executing, and tracking community programmes that create long-term impact across sectors.
Programme Development and Partnerships
You will shape and refine programmes that respond to new needs and gaps, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities. This includes community engagement efforts that strengthen a broader community of care, as well as initiatives that support a resilient and future-ready workforce.
You will also oversee a fund that supports ground-up, community-led initiatives, making sure resources are allocated responsibly, governance standards are upheld, and impact is tracked effectively. In addition, you will cultivate community leaders while working with partners and co-funders.
Another key part of the role is building and managing a portfolio of partnerships. You will develop trust, align objectives, and enable collaboration that supports co-funding and delivery of meaningful outcomes.
Programme Implementation and Monitoring
You will lead a fellowship programme by working closely with fellows and mentors, creating a supportive peer network, guiding participants toward programme outcomes, and monitoring progress, impact, and stakeholder updates.
You will also provide oversight for other programmes, ensuring they stay on track against their intended outcomes and working with partners to resolve issues and improve delivery.
Requirements
The role calls for a degree and at least 10 years of relevant experience in programme management, partnerships, community development, or social impact. Strong analytical ability and the capacity to turn insights into decisions are essential.
You should be an effective communicator who can simplify complex information into clear narratives, engage senior stakeholders, and build constructive relationships across sectors in a fast-moving environment.
Having an established network of corporate partners and grantmakers will be considered an advantage.
