Role Overview
The Associate Change Consultant will support the growth of the Change and Transformation practice by helping deliver high-quality client projects. A central part of the role is ensuring the end user remains at the heart of technology change initiatives, with involvement in understanding current pain points, shaping change management plans, and supporting training and communications around new technology launches.
This role is open to candidates based anywhere in Australia, with preference for Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Perth. Office locations include Melbourne, Bendigo, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth, Canberra, Auckland, Wellington, Tokyo, and Bali.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with change and adoption assignments by completing impact assessments, training needs analysis, user persona development, and business scenario analysis.
- Help design and prepare change strategies and support activities that drive culture change and alignment objectives.
- Develop and adapt communications and enablement materials such as videos, user guides, and awareness content.
- Deliver product-focused and scenario-based training both online and face-to-face.
- Craft messaging that builds positive sentiment toward change, addresses resistance, improves willingness to adopt, and highlights business benefits.
- Participate in demonstrations, roadshows, and launch support at client locations before or during go-live.
- Work directly with end users through interviews, focus groups, launch support, genius bars, and floor walking.
- Measure and report on the effectiveness of change and adoption campaigns.
- Keep up to date with updates across the Microsoft ecosystem and contribute to the continuous improvement of internal collateral and knowledge sharing, including Brown Bags for staff.
- Contribute to internal innovation in methods, tools, and deliverables.
- Coordinate with Project Managers throughout the project lifecycle and provide light-touch support for resourcing and budget matters.
- When needed, support marketing activities such as Office 365 User Groups, Responsive Coffee, webinars, and other Engage Squared events.
Skills and Experience
- Strong experience creating and distributing communications for both internal audiences and customers.
- Working familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools such as Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint Online.
- Understanding of change management approaches such as PROSCI, PCI, or similar frameworks.
- Ability to engage stakeholders, uncover business needs, run requirement workshops, and document findings.
- Experience facilitating training sessions.
- Background in communications and stakeholder engagement is highly valued.
- Consulting experience is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to create tailored training resources including user guides, videos, and flyers.
- Proven capability to work effectively in time-sensitive environments.
Certifications
PROSCI certification is highly desirable. Microsoft Adoption Specialist Certification is also desirable.
