About The Role
Join The Athlete’s Foot team in Hamilton as a Part-Time Assistant Store Manager for 35 hours per week. This position offers leadership within a dynamic and enthusiastic team committed to outstanding footwear retail experiences. Work with major brands such as Nike, Adidas, Brooks, Hoka, Asics, New Balance, and ON Running, supporting your Store Manager to foster a community-oriented and motivating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example to provide exceptional customer service, utilizing advanced MyFit 3D fitting technology.
- Inspire and drive your team to consistently surpass sales goals and key performance indicators.
- Track and analyze team performance to identify growth and improvement opportunities proactively.
- Partner with the Store Manager to manage staff scheduling and oversee wage expenditure following company policies.
- Maintain high standards in operational duties, including store presentation, visual merchandising, and inventory management.
- Promote team training, development, and succession to cultivate a capable and motivated workforce.
- Engage with the community through sports partnerships and professional healthcare collaborations.
- Ensure adherence to Occupational Health & Safety regulations according to national and state requirements.
Required Skills and Experience
- Previous experience as an Assistant Store Manager or in senior retail roles such as Key Holder, Supervisor, or Third-in-Charge within fast-paced retail settings.
- A proactive, results-oriented approach with a strong 'Make it Happen' attitude.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities to motivate and manage teams effectively.
- Track record of achieving sales targets and KPIs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of stock control procedures and visual merchandising standards.
