Role Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in driving daily performance across both individual and team goals, helping the store meet sales and profit expectations while creating a strong customer experience. This role also contributes to team development through coaching, training, evaluation, and support in hiring and selection. In addition, the position involves upholding company policies and handling operational and strategic responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support store leadership in keeping day-to-day results aligned with sales and profit targets.
- Help create an environment centered on customer satisfaction.
- Build team capability by coaching, training, and assessing product knowledge and performance.
- Assist with recruitment and selection of team members.
- Ensure company standards, policies, and procedures are consistently followed.
- Handle additional operational and strategic duties as needed.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of retail experience, ideally in jewellery or another specialty retail setting.
- Comfort using POS systems, scanners, and basic computer software and hardware.
- Ability to understand and act on written, verbal, visual, and schedule-based instructions.
- Availability to work daytime, evening, and weekend shifts.
- Commitment to strong service standards and continuous learning.
Training and Growth

- Hourly base pay of $20.00 to $23.50, plus sales commission; final compensation depends on experience and qualifications.
