Role Purpose
The Assistant Regional Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for enhancing business outcomes and elevating customer satisfaction by ensuring adherence to quality and food safety standards within the region. This involves fostering a culture of continuous improvement and efficient utilization of resources to meet organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a successful HACCP program across the region, addressing all food safety hazards related to storage and distribution.
- Design and perform a comprehensive audit plan regionally assessing compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, and internal Almarai standards.
- Implement a thorough AIBI inspection schedule for the region and conduct audits following AIBI criteria.
- Lead and guide regional teams to deliver effective daily support for core operations and processes, encompassing strategic planning, problem resolution, decision-making, and risk management.
- Monitor, record, and report on regional KPIs using established methods, providing regular performance reports.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in any scientific or engineering discipline, preferably Dairy Technologist or Food Technologist.
- Between 5 and 6 years of experience in quality roles within the FMCG sector.
- Proven background in ISO 9001 and ISO 22000 HACCP implementation, particularly in distribution and logistics settings.
- Professional experience within Middle Eastern markets.
- Strong command of English, both spoken and written.
- Essential personal attributes include self-motivation in problem-solving, integrity, initiative, sound reasoning abilities, and goal orientation.
