About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and commercially minded Assistant Product Manager to develop and expand the SMB distribution business across the Middle East region. This role centers on managing vendor partnerships, motivating partner involvement, boosting sales growth, and implementing effective go-to-market plans aimed at SMB clients through our channel partners.
Key Duties
- Stimulate business expansion in the SMB segment through assigned vendors and channel partners.
- Assist in achieving targets for revenue, profitability, and market penetration.
- Oversee sales pipelines, evaluate partner performance, and identify regional growth opportunities.
- Discover new avenues for business development and market expansion within the SMB sector.
- Help in forecasting, budgeting, and conducting quarterly business assessments.
- Forge and nurture relationships with channel partners, resellers, and system integrators.
- Support partners with product knowledge, pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and sales assistance.
- Collaborate with partners to generate demand and acquire new customers.
- Facilitate recruitment and onboarding of new SMB-targeted channel partners.
- Coordinate with technology vendors on programs, incentives, promotional activities, and strategic business planning.
- Monitor vendor targets, rebate schemes, marketing development funds utilization, and performance indicators.
- Align vendor strategic objectives with regional sales execution plans.
- Implement regional go-to-market campaigns and partner enablement initiatives.
- Organize training, webinars, and workshops for partner education.
- Work alongside marketing teams on SMB-specific campaigns and lead generation efforts.
- Support launching innovative solutions and services into the market.
- Prepare analytical reports, sales dashboards, and executive presentations.
- Supervise inventory management, pricing policies, deal registrations, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with sales, finance, operations, and marketing teams.
- Ensure swift resolution of partner escalations and operational challenges.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
- More than 5 years of relevant experience in technology distribution, channel sales, product management, or SMB business oversight.
- Sound knowledge of cloud computing, infrastructure solutions, cybersecurity, or enterprise technology products.
- Strong analytical abilities, effective communication, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Experience collaborating with channel partners and managing vendor ecosystems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and CRM or reporting software.
Preferred Competencies
- Experience partnering with leading cloud hyperscalers such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
- Insight into distribution business frameworks and partner incentive programs.
- Capability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders across various Middle Eastern countries.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and self-motivation skills with a strong execution focus.
