Job Purpose

The role is responsible for delivering an exceptional employee experience within a defined scope of the Finance team. Serving as the main HR contact for employees and managers, this position handles critical employee-related matters, provides expert advice on policies and processes, and ensures alignment with business objectives. It requires a deep understanding of applicable laws, Unilever policies, and digital tools to enhance employee experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with managers to offer support on individual employee issues and HR workflows.
  • Address intricate employee queries by applying HR policies, employment law, and prudent judgment.
  • Update and maintain knowledge platforms like UNA Hub while contributing recommendations to improve HR technology use.
  • Assist with employee relations cases ensuring adherence to employment laws and organizational policies.
  • Provide hands-on assistance in performance management, disciplinary processes, grievance handling, leave administration, flexible work arrangements, and redundancy management.
  • Encourage adherence to Unilever's Code of Business Principles and help mediate conflict resolution as a neutral party.
  • Establish trust with employees and supervisors by facilitating fair and unbiased resolution in sensitive matters.
  • Detect trends in employee relations, coach managers accordingly, and propose preventive measures to address underlying issues.
  • Partner with HR functions such as HR Business Partners, Payroll, Rewards, and Talent Acquisition to deliver efficient and seamless service.
  • Serve as the primary contact for challenging employee-related concerns within the assigned business unit.
  • Engage in projects aimed at simplifying processes and transforming the employee experience positively.

Required Qualifications

  • MBA in Human Resource Management.
  • Approximately four years of relevant HR experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing performance dialogues and handling complex employee relations and conflict resolution is an advantage.
