About the Role
The Executive – Non-Litigation role is focused on transactional legal work, document handling, customer-facing documentation for projects, and compliance support. The position involves helping draft, review, and manage legal documents, while also coordinating with outside consultants and law firms. A key part of the job is reducing legal risk, handling contracts efficiently, and keeping legal records well organized.
Key Responsibilities
This position supports non-litigation contract management, legal advisory, compliance, and stakeholder coordination.
- Help prepare, examine, and verify agreements such as sale agreements, development agreements, lease deeds, memorandums of understanding, and vendor contracts.
- Work with internal teams and external legal advisors to complete transactional documents.
- Assist in structuring deals and spotting legal and contractual risks.
- Ensure contractual obligations align with applicable laws and company policies.
- Maintain organized records of legal documents, agreements, approvals, and related correspondence.
- Partner with internal functions to support compliance with statutory, regulatory, and real estate law requirements.
- Assist with legal due diligence for land parcels and project-related matters.
- Support review of title papers and coordinate the collection of approvals where needed.
- Coordinate execution and registration of documents with authorities and other stakeholders.
- Liaise with consultants, advocates, and government offices for documentation and approval processes.
- Serve as a point of contact between internal teams and external legal advisors for non-litigation issues.
- Provide initial legal guidance to internal teams on transactional and contractual matters.
Requirements
- 10 to 12 years of experience in non-litigation or transactional legal work.
- 2 to 3 years of experience at a reputed law firm is preferred.
- Strong understanding of real estate laws, contract law, and land revenue laws is preferred.
