About the Role
We are looking for a meticulous and proactive Assistant Manager HR Business Partner to oversee pilot training bonds and associated contractual duties. This position involves ensuring adherence to policies, effective recovery operations, and seamless collaboration among HR, Finance, Training, and Legal teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical capabilities partnered with exceptional communication and stakeholder relationship management skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage all HR business partnering activities including onboarding, employee development, performance evaluation, engagement, leadership growth, and retention in sync with HR strategies and policies.
- Design and implement employee-centric policies and maintain specialized data for departmental schemes like benevolent funds, Alienation of Duty (AOD), and medical leave cases.
- Manage disciplinary inquiries, maintain records, issue official communications and support handling of POSH (Prevention of Sexual Harassment) cases.
- Organize reward and recognition programs, conduct employee surveys, and assist teams with training & development initiatives.
- Facilitate employee insurance claims, AOD cases, and other special cases requiring HR assistance.
- Ensure accurate, controlled, and up-to-date organizational communications to employees, assisting in easy data storage and retrieval.
- Coordinate internal job postings and employee career progression activities.
- Liaise with HR service providers, suppliers, and outsourced vendors to maintain expected service quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Execute payroll and benefits preparation in accordance with internal guidelines, ensuring precise data submission for variable allowances, overtime, deductions, and attendance to the payroll team timely.
- Prepare various reports and presentations as required by management.
- Maintain and analyze HR data including headcount, cost budgets, and attrition rates.
- Plan and organize employee engagement events, conduct employee interaction visits at airports, collect feedback, and coordinate responses to employee queries.
- Support the Compensation and Benefits team on salary benchmarking, engagement surveys, and other key initiatives.
- Manage the non-dues clearance and exit formalities process for the respective vertical.
Candidate Profile
- Postgraduate degree, preferably MBA in Human Resources.
- Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in HR business partnering, talent management, acquisition, employee engagement, benefits administration, and HR generalist roles.
- Proficient knowledge of labor laws, HRIS operations, and retiral & benefits legislation.
- Background in aviation industry preferred.
