About the role
As the Assistant Store Manager in the Hervey Bay store, you will help deliver an outstanding shopping experience by using feature-and-benefit selling and offering personalised guidance to every customer. You will also coach and develop the team so they have the product knowledge and confidence to present new collections, fabrics, and furniture ranges effectively, while supporting sales growth. The role also includes handling day-to-day store administration such as rostering and ordering to keep operations running smoothly.
Skills and experience
- Retail leadership or management experience is highly valued.
- Ability to create and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
- Well-developed organisational ability.
- A real interest in furniture or interior design would be an advantage.
- Comfort and confidence with moving furniture and handling large cartons.
