Job description
Role overview
As Assistant Manager, Brand Partner Marketing, you will shape and execute marketing plans for assigned Sephora brand partners. The aim is to grow sales, strengthen Sephora’s competitive position, and keep the customer experience compelling. You will report to the Manager of Brand Partner Marketing and work closely with brands to improve programs through Sephora’s available marketing channels.
What you will do
- Design and deliver brand-partner marketing strategies that create value for both Sephora and its brand partners across your portfolio.
- Build a solid understanding of each brand’s business goals, priorities, and product range in collaboration with the Merchandising team.
- Advise brands on how to succeed at Sephora through an omnichannel marketing approach, including co-op advertising, sampling plans, social media, activations, and consumer messaging.
- Own and nurture day-to-day relationships with brand partners.
- Develop strong brand partnerships and secure participation in relevant Sephora marketing initiatives.
- Use data and insights to recommend actions that produce outcomes beneficial to both the brands and Sephora.
- Spot opportunities for new co-op marketing programs and partnerships, then prepare the business case for new concepts and innovations.
- Collaborate across a matrixed organisation with teams in category/brands, e-commerce, growth marketing, retail operations, training and education, creative, CRM and loyalty, and analytics.
What we are looking for
- At least 6 years of experience in marketing and communications, with strong exposure to brand marketing or advertising; loyalty or retail experience and some digital background are preferred.
- A tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, or business.
- The ability to think strategically while also contributing to detailed program planning and execution.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams or clients to support business objectives.
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- The ability to manage several detail-heavy projects at once and meet deadlines.
- A proactive, self-driven working style.
