Responsibilities
- Support the HSA in managing administrative operations and ensuring compliance with federal, state, correctional healthcare, and facility rules and standards.
- Review administrative policies to confirm alignment with contract terms and regulatory obligations, and escalate any gaps or concerns to the HSA.
- Assist with hiring professional staff and independent contractors when needed.
- Help review annual facility budgets and carry out periodic cost and productivity analysis for the HSA.
- Maintain network development efforts to support both contract compliance and budget compliance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or Public Administration is required.
- Three years of administrative experience in healthcare is required.
- Prior experience leading healthcare professionals is required.
- A strong healthcare administration background with a clinical credential such as RN, LPN, or Behavioral Health Professional is preferred for this setting.
- Willingness to travel about 10% of the time is required.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict-resolution abilities are needed.
- Ability to work with data, including generating, reviewing, and interpreting analytics.
- Excellent organization and time-management skills, with a track record of meeting deadlines.
- Must be able to pass pre-employment Level 2 clearance, including a background check and drug screening.
