Role overview
Ayers Rock Resort is hiring an Assistant Executive Housekeeper for an onsite role in Yulara, Northern Territory, about a 20-minute drive from Uluru. This position suits an experienced housekeeping professional who can work on their own initiative, communicate clearly, and handle conflict effectively. You will support the Executive Housekeeper in keeping guest accommodation clean, orderly, and maintained to the resort’s quality standards while helping deliver work plans and budget targets within required timelines.
Key responsibilities
- Support day-to-day staff coordination so operational needs are met and budget targets are achieved through well-planned work allocation.
- Keep tight control over daily costs by improving productivity and reducing unnecessary expense.
- Assign projects and tasks, as directed by the Executive Housekeeper, to room attendants and supervisors.
- Take charge of the department when the Executive Housekeeper is unavailable.
