Overview
BBC Yoruba is inviting applications for the role of Assistant Editor based in Lagos State. This position involves crafting and overseeing high-impact original journalism content that includes exclusives, in-depth investigations, insightful explainers, and unique content designed primarily for digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with fellow Assistant Editors and the News Editor to determine joint editorial priorities, coordinate coverage across multiple services and countries, and aim to avoid duplicated reporting.
Language Requirements
Applicants must have excellent communication skills in both English and Yoruba languages.
