Role Overview
As Assistant Director, Technology Strategic Planning and Integration, you will spearhead digital transformation efforts within the hospital by orchestrating the planning, design, and execution of technology-driven services. Your work will enhance experiences for both patients and healthcare professionals, focusing on workflow optimization, smart systems, and the realisation of measurable value from technology investments.
Key Responsibilities
- Redesign patient, caregiver, and staff experiences through innovative technology-enabled solutions.
- Create digital service blueprints to identify areas for digitalisation, self-service, and process streamlining.
- Promote the adoption and continual enhancement of digital platforms to improve accessibility and satisfaction.
- Translate organisational priorities into actionable transformation roadmaps by partnering with clinical, operational, and support teams.
- Engage various stakeholder groups to ensure that new services remain centred on user needs and outcome-driven impact.
- Lead the development and optimisation of technology-powered workflows, smart hospital solutions, and digital enterprise capabilities.
- Advance operational informatics initiatives to boost workflow efficiency, resource utilisation, and capacity planning.
- Define business requirements and future operational models while supporting major technology rollouts.
- Plan and coordinate smart hospital strategies and digital enablement within broader healthcare development programmes.
- Establish analytics and reporting frameworks to spot service bottlenecks, pain points, and areas for further transformation.
- Use operational, service, and technology data to prioritise initiatives and inform decisions.
- Implement rigorous performance measurement and benefits-tracking procedures for digital projects.
- Lead continuous improvement based on data-driven service assessments and feedback integration.
- Drive successful adoption of initiatives through leading change management and cross-departmental collaboration.
- Foster strong relationships with vendors, implementation partners, and ecosystem stakeholders.
- Oversee stakeholder engagement, business case development, and consensus-building for complex transformation programmes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, IT, Business, Engineering, or a relevant field; a Master’s degree is advantageous.
- At least 12–15 years of professional experience in healthcare operations, digital transformation, service redesign, technology implementation, or related domains.
- A proven track record of leading multifaceted transformation, technology-driven change, or large-scale operational improvement projects.
- Strong grasp of healthcare operations, process engineering, and change management.
- Demonstrated expertise in cross-functional teamwork across operational, clinical, facilities, and technology disciplines.
- Exceptional abilities in programme management, stakeholder engagement, strategic planning, and structured problem-solving.
- Background in healthcare technology, enterprise system design, smart hospital projects, patient experience, or digital service transformation is a plus.
