Role Overview

The Assistant Digital Merchandiser is an essential member of the digital team responsible for ensuring accurate and timely product presentation on tommy.com, focusing on Womens and Kids categories. This role involves executing product launches, managing content setup and site quality, and supporting merchandising strategies by working closely with departments such as E-commerce, Merchandising, Planning, Marketing, and IT.

Key Duties

  • Manage product data input and maintenance within Product Information Management systems, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Oversee weekly product launches on the website with precise scheduling and flawless execution.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality assurance of product pages including details, images, pricing, and site performance.
  • Implement merchandising updates like product sequences and category page modifications as guided by the Digital Merchandising team.
  • Maintain "Complete the Look" product linkages manually in Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
  • Carry out markdowns, promotions, and final sale updates site-wide.
  • Regularly perform site checks to uphold a seamless customer experience within assigned categories.
  • Identify and address product or content issues by collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Create and distribute reports and dashboards that aid in business analysis and merchandising decisions.
  • Support competitive research and trend analysis by reviewing competitors and market standards.
  • Assist in launching seasonal products, promotional campaigns, and other merchandising initiatives.
  • Document merchandising processes to preserve operational consistency and enhance efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; internship or prior experience in e-commerce, merchandising, retail, or marketing preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong organizational and multitasking capabilities in fast-paced environments.
  • Proficient in time management and problem-solving, able to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Comfortable with Excel, data management, large product databases, and familiarity with platforms such as Salesforce Commerce Cloud, STIBO PIM, or Adobe tools is advantageous.
  • Strong ownership mentality with urgency and accountability.
  • Passion for fashion, digital commerce, and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
  • Adept at balancing creativity with business goals and brand standards.
  • Curiosity-driven, adaptable, and enthusiastic about innovation within retail.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary range is $60,800 to $87,800, determined by qualifications, location, and skills.
