Role Overview
SUNY Plattsburgh is looking for a highly organized, technology-comfortable professional to support the Registrar’s Office. This is a full-time, 12-month campus-based role focused on keeping registration, course scheduling, reporting, and related academic records processes running smoothly.
Key Duties
- Support the creation of class schedules and help train department staff on related procedures.
- Handle student requests tied to registration at other campuses.
- Keep the master course files accurate and up to date.
- Manage external student and degree reporting responsibilities.
- Process large-scale registrations and registration overrides.
- Work with deans, department chairs, and administrative assistants on registration-related needs.
- Assist with maintaining Institutional Effectiveness coding.
- Respond to requests for classroom space and event scheduling.
- Oversee assigned support staff.
- Maintain current standard operating procedure documents for the office.
