About the Role
The Assistant Club Manager oversees the overall success, operational efficiency, and member satisfaction of the Society Club, ensuring top-notch service, cleanliness, maintenance, and brand presentation. This role supports daily operations management and fitness & wellness departments within the UFC Gym facilities, making sure high standards are consistently met across all service areas including membership, fitness, academy, wellness, food & beverage, and retail.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Club Manager with managing day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless collaboration between Fitness, Front of House, Sales, and Support teams, and uphold compliance with standard operating procedures.
- Support fitness trainers, coaches, and wellness personnel by monitoring their performance and enhancing member engagement through fitness programs and wellness initiatives.
- Actively contribute to improving member experience and retention by handling feedback and supporting engagement activities.
- Assist in team leadership activities including supervision, onboarding, training, daily briefings, and performance enhancement.
- Collaborate with the sales team to support marketing campaigns and monitor business KPIs.
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and emergency procedures alongside maintaining professional standards.
- Supervise the upkeep of cleanliness, safety, service quality, and presentation across the club facility.
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments such as maintenance, security, and F&B to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor operational KPIs and prepare performance reports regularly.
- Drive strategies to enhance personal training revenue and member retention while supporting recruitment and team development.
- Implement wellness programs and community activities that elevate member satisfaction.
- Lead team motivation, coaching, regular meetings, and performance evaluations fostering a positive work culture.
- Assist in budget planning, cost control measures, and analyzing club performance to initiate improvements.
- Maintain health and safety standards, ensuring emergency readiness and risk management compliance.

Required Experience and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Fitness, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
- Five to seven years of experience managing fitness clubs, wellness centers, or hospitality/leisure operations.
- Proven experience leading fitness teams and overseeing club operations.
- Strong knowledge of gym operations, personal training, and wellness programming.
- Effective leadership skills managing diverse and multicultural teams.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
