Role overview
Amazon India is expanding a dedicated brand support service for leading brands, with the goal of helping them grow on the platform. In this role, you will partner with brands to improve the key levers that drive performance, including content, marketing, stock health, and other business inputs. The position is suited to people who are inventive, highly driven, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.
What you will do
- Strengthen assortment by identifying gaps in the brand’s selection and checking that all relevant offline items are available on Amazon.
- Drive demand by coordinating with category management colleagues to build a marketing calendar aligned to the vendor’s goals.
- Advise brands on Amazon programs and encourage participation in relevant initiatives.
- Maintain product availability so that items remain continuously in stock.
- Improve catalogue quality by ensuring brand-provided inputs such as images and product descriptions are complete and accurate for detail pages.
What the role requires
The ideal candidate is customer-focused, entrepreneurial, and comfortable taking ownership in a high-speed business setting. You should be able to form and manage brand relationships, think analytically, and make independent, data-backed decisions. Experience with planning product cycles and selling online is helpful, along with the ability to forecast, plan, and grow an online business. Strong communication skills are important for working with external partners, vendors, and internal teams.
Basic qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in account management, project management, program management, or buying.
- A bachelor’s degree.
- Familiarity with analytical tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, or HTML.
Preferred background
- Experience improving processes.
- Comfort handling large data sets.
