Assembly Fitter - Heavy Machinery

About the Role

We are seeking both freshers and experienced Assembly Fitters for the assembly and fitting of heavy machinery components. The position involves working closely with engineering drawings and various tools to ensure proper construction of mechanical assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble heavy machinery parts according to engineering blueprints and instructions.
• Interpret assembly drawings effectively for accurate fitting and alignment tasks.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measurement devices with precision and safety.
• Carry out fitting, tightening, aligning, and inspect assembled machinery parts.
• Maintain quality standards by identifying and reporting defects to supervisors promptly.
• Adhere to safety protocols including the use of personal protective equipment and 5S methodological practices.
• Collaborate with the production team to meet daily assembly targets.

Qualifications and Skills

• ITI certification in Fitter, Turner, Mechanic or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Fundamental understanding of mechanical assembly processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Skillful use of measuring instruments for quality assurance.
• Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail in assembly processes.
• Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics is beneficial.

Applicant Eligibility

Applicants with fresh qualifications (ITI/Diploma) who are eager to learn are welcome. Candidates with 1 to 5 years of relevant experience in heavy machinery assembly, construction equipment, industrial manufacturing, or related fields are preferred.

Preferred Background

Candidates experienced in heavy engineering, construction equipment, mining machinery, agricultural machinery, or material handling equipment manufacturing will have an advantage.

Salary

Compensation depends on company standards and candidate’s experience, ranging between INR 16,000 to 35,000 per month.
