Role overview

Reson8 Asia is hiring an experienced Art Director to join its creative team in Singapore. This role is suited to someone who combines strong visual judgement with marketing awareness and business thinking, and who can guide a team of designers toward impactful work for both the company and its clients. The position calls for a confident manager with the ability to inspire others and raise the standard of creative output, especially across social media-driven campaigns.

Key objectives

  • Lead the art department by coaching, assigning work to, scheduling, and mentoring team members.
  • Set and maintain standards for output quality, productivity, production, and client service within the art function.
  • Keep design workflows aligned with current processes, identify areas for improvement, and help build tools and systems that strengthen design operations.
  • Coordinate team priorities with business goals to ensure work is delivered on time and within budget.
  • Create presentation methods, visual styles, and techniques that the team can apply consistently.
  • Study market movements, customer needs, the competitive environment, and campaign results to inform creative decisions.

Core responsibilities

  • Partner with the wider creative team to build a consistent brand voice and visual direction for the company and its clients.
  • Develop campaign concepts that integrate original graphics, written content, websites, social media assets, and other marketing materials.
  • Turn brainstorming ideas into actionable creative plans with timelines, direction, and deliverables for the team.
  • Assign projects to in-house designers and manage progress through completion.
  • Review and gain approval for final designs, storyboards, and illustrations while encouraging feedback and responding to internal comments and revisions.
  • Oversee, or personally present, final concepts and manage their production and distribution.
  • Work directly with the Creative Director and report to them.

Skills and qualifications

  • Strong working knowledge of design tools, especially Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Advanced ability in typography, page layout, and visual composition.
  • Consistently high standards for aesthetic quality and visual polish.
  • Proven capability in guiding and leading creative teams.
  • Strong creative thinking balanced with an understanding of commercial goals.
  • Solid familiarity with photography and video production.
  • Copywriting experience is an added advantage.
  • Excellent English communication skills, plus native-level proficiency in the language of your country (TH/ID).
