Job description

About the role

For the Mannheim office, a full-time Art Director is needed to help shape visual communication across print, screen, and social channels. The role suits someone with a strong sense of aesthetics, a feel for brands, and enthusiasm for translating existing and new corporate identities into effective layouts and campaign assets.

Who we are

The team consists of more than 45 specialists who work in a passionate, analytical, intuitive, and modern environment. As digital natives, they develop fresh ideas to create strong communication for clients. The company operates from three locations in Germany: Mannheim, Düsseldorf, and Hamburg, serving clients in retail & FMCG, eCommerce, automotive & mobility, industry, technology, life science, and healthcare.

Responsibilities

  • Create and implement layouts for screens and print, along with a wide range of social media materials.
  • Support national and international clients in both ongoing work and new business projects.
  • Develop, refine, and execute integrated campaigns across offline and online channels.
  • Work closely with creative colleagues in graphic design and video, account managers, social media managers, and developers.
  • Produce adaptations based on master templates created by the creative team.
  • Independently build different layouts in line with print and digital specifications.

Requirements

  • Completed studies in graphic design, training as a media designer, artworker, or a comparable qualification.
  • At least 3 to 5 years of professional experience.
  • Strong digital mindset and comfort working in digital environments.
  • Solid craftsmanship, creativity, and a keen eye for sophisticated, innovative graphic design and communication.
  • High motivation, team spirit, commitment, and a hands-on attitude.

Perks

  • Plenty of room for ideas, varied tasks, and an enjoyable work atmosphere.
  • Flexible working hours instead of a traditional 9-to-5 schedule.
  • Broad internal development and advancement opportunities.
  • Above-average compensation.
  • Flat hierarchies that contribute to a positive workplace culture.
  • Team-building through memorable and personal team events.
  • A supportive team that helps with questions and challenges.
  • A permanent position with diverse and varied responsibilities.
  • Beverages are provided, including the option to order preferred drinks, plus plenty of coffee.
  • Modern workspace setup that can be arranged to suit personal preferences.
  • Employee ideas and wishes are listened to and taken seriously.
  • High-quality equipment is provided.

Application

Applicants are asked to send a cover letter, CV, and salary expectations by email. The company indicates that it will respond and, if it is a fit, arrange an introduction meeting.

Leave it if you'd like a reply — we won't use it for anything else.
