About the Role
This position is based at Imjin Barracks, Gloucester, where the Ministry of Defence embraces Smarter Working practices to ensure a balanced work-life dynamic through flexible hours and digital tools. Candidates are expected to spend at least 60% of their time (around 3 days per week) physically present at the office. The role supports the Allied Rapid Reaction Corps (ARRC) within the Land Forces Army structure, providing essential Information Knowledge Management (IKM) as part of the HQ ARRC Strategic Reserve Corp. This function aligns with the Army's strategic goals to become a data-centric digital force and foster a culture of data literacy and information management excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and enforce IKM policies organization-wide, ensuring compliance and best practices.
- Handle document and record management efficiently within ARRC.
- Oversee information dissemination to support operations in and around ARRC.
- Implement and maintain information assurance policies, including security measures for physical documents and data.
- Ensure secure handling procedures for protectively marked materials are understood and followed.
- Provide guidance, training, and support on IKM and collaborative tools to ARRC personnel.
- Develop and deliver training programs for ARRC software applications, including SharePoint portals related to NATO Secret operations.
- Manage postal services covering parcels, registered and classified mail, and liaise with the station post room for all HQ ARRC postal needs.
- Provide additional postal support and maintain accurate mailing logs and address books.

Additional Information
- The role constitutes a 37-hour workweek.
- The salary is £27,866 annually, plus a Civil Service defined benefit pension contribution of £8,072 from the Ministry of Defence.
- Employees receive 25 days’ annual leave, increasing by one day per year to a maximum of 30 days after five years.
