Role overview

Jio is hiring an Area Service Incharge in Aligarh, Uttar Pradesh. This position is focused on service operations, partner coordination, manpower planning, and delivery of customer-facing service commitments across the assigned area.

What the job involves

• Plan resources, manage recruitment needs, and oversee deployment across the field operation.
• Handle partner lifecycle activities and make sure onboarding is completed to a high standard.
• Own service delivery outcomes and ensure the required manpower is available at all times.
• Track everyday team performance, encourage the team, and arrange suitable training support.
• Conduct partner and market visits whenever the business requires it.
• Collect customer feedback and guide, mentor, and counsel the field workforce as needed.
• Drive partners to meet targets on time and maintain performance levels.
• Address escalations effectively and work toward customer satisfaction.
• Work closely with Sales, Service, Network, and Finance teams for smooth operations.
• Take part in other business activities as required.

Requirements

The role calls for a graduate or diploma holder in an engineering discipline, along with 6 to 10 years of experience in after-sales service. The candidate should also bring strong knowledge of the DTH, cable, telecom, or device domain, especially within area or zone-based operations.
