About the Role
We are recruiting a Clinical Sales Specialist to join a leading medical devices company, specializing in structural heart and interventional cardiology solutions. This role focuses on transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) and coronary products, supporting cardiologists, cath lab personnel, and clinical stakeholders primarily in the Christchurch region.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide hands-on clinical support during TAVI and coronary procedures in the cath lab, ensuring technical and procedural guidance for safe and effective device usage.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and educational activities related to device preparation, deployment, and best clinical practices.
- Develop strong professional relationships with interventional cardiologists, nurses, and allied health professionals, facilitating workshops and regional in-service training events.
- Act as the clinical expert for the designated territory across TAVI and coronary portfolios, offering authoritative guidance to customers.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to promote account expansion and adoption of cardiovascular technologies.
- Identify growth opportunities by integrating education, clinical expertise, and customer engagement efforts.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of competitive products and evolving clinical procedures.
- Provide continuous clinical support throughout Christchurch and its environs, delivering excellent pre- and post-procedure assistance.
Candidate Profile
- Clinical background in cardiology, cath lab nursing, physiology, or a closely related discipline.
- Previous experience supporting TAVI and/or coronary interventions highly preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to build relationships under pressure within clinical settings.
- Calm, supportive demeanor while working in procedural environments.
- Highly organized, proactive, and dedicated to achieving exceptional patient-centered outcomes.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across clinical and commercial teams.
