Area Manager / Branch Manager - Affordable Housing Loans

About the Role

Equitas Small Finance Bank Ltd is seeking experienced professionals for the position of Area Manager / Branch Manager focused on the Affordable Housing Loan (HL) and Loan Against Property (LAP) segment in Rajkot. Candidates must be graduates or postgraduates with a minimum of eight years of relevant experience managing multiple branches and leading teams in affordable home loans and LAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Achieve monthly retail lending targets for affordable home loans and LAP within the assigned geographic cluster.
• Expand channel distribution by recruiting, activating, and managing Direct Marketing Agents (DMAs), connectors, and local builders for generating leads.
• Lead, mentor, and oversee the performance of Sales Executives and Relationship Managers across several branches.
• Ensure credit and compliance by reviewing customer profiles, assessing repayment capacity, and coordinating with credit and technical underwriting teams to facilitate loan approvals.
• Maintain portfolio quality by monitoring early delinquencies and collaborating on recovery efforts to keep the Non-Performing Asset (NPA) ratio low.
• Possess deep knowledge of the target low-and-middle-income customer segments, property valuation standards, and relevant local legal documentation.
• Exhibit strong leadership skills, excellent relationship management, negotiation capabilities, and utilize data-driven techniques for tracking sales efficiency.
