  • Track monthly notional savings for fraud cases reported in the area.
  • Oversee vendor and agency partners managing process turnaround times (TAT), costs, management information systems (MIS), and portfolio management.
  • Ensure timely and accurate reporting, vendor performance monitoring, escalation management, and billing submission.
  • Drive digital initiatives such as utilization and monitoring of internal tools like Hunter for fraud detection and internal deduplication checks.
  • Lead investigations and establish deterrents including cross-verifications of internal reports—financial, technical, valuation, and CAM.
  • Conduct meetings with customers, channels/vendors, and internal teams to investigate fraud cases and establish points of fraud perpetuation.
  • Share feedback to strengthen processes and enforce deterrent measures.
  • Submit fraud tracker data promptly and participate in adhoc investigations to ensure closure with satisfactory outcomes.
  • Identify and address potential process or policy breaches in sourcing.
  • Proactively review collection data to anticipate gaps and weaknesses.
  • Organize and lead trainings for samplers, business teams, underwriters, and vendor FCU personnel to enhance quality and delivery.
  • Drive initiatives for capability building among samplers and vendors, including global behavioral face-to-face interactions focused on fraud identification.
  • Conduct asset verifications with feedback provision and identify new fraud triggers.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • In-depth knowledge of current market practices in fraud detection, investigation, and analytics.
  • At least three years of experience managing fraud detection processes within NBFCs or Housing Finance Companies (HFCs), especially in the mortgage sector.
