Area Director of Operations – Home Care - South Carolina

About the Role

Attentive Angels is seeking an experienced and committed leader to take charge as the Area Director of Operations for all South Carolina locations. This key leadership position involves managing operational aspects, fostering growth, and creating meaningful impacts on clients and caregivers across the state.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily functioning of multiple home care branches throughout South Carolina.
• Mentor and guide Branch Directors, Administrators, and office personnel.
• Cultivate an environment centered on responsibility, teamwork, and high standards.
• Oversee financial performance including P&L, census development, and key operational indicators.
• Collaborate with recruiting and sales teams to boost caregiver staffing and client acquisition.
• Spot and pursue opportunities for market expansion and service extension.
• Ensure consistent, superior client service delivery across all branches.
• Monitor client satisfaction, retention rates, and service quality metrics.
• Lead client relationship management and resolve issues promptly.
• Standardize operational processes while accommodating local requirements.
• Identify areas needing improvement and lead initiatives to elevate performance.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and operational audits.
• Maintain full compliance with state, federal, and organizational standards.
• Prepare teams for audits and oversee adherence to licensing protocols.
• Drive ongoing enhancements to quality measures and outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum 5 to 7 years in leadership roles overseeing multiple sites, preferably within home care or broader healthcare sectors.
• Demonstrated capability to manage operations effectively, promote growth, and lead teams successfully.
• Strong financial understanding, including budgeting and P&L management.
• Familiarity with home care regulations is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability and willingness to travel frequently across South Carolina.
