Role Summary

The Architect III position calls for an imaginative and seasoned architect to contribute to and guide the Architectural Design Team. The ideal candidate will bring strong design thinking, technical capability, and project visioning experience, while helping steer multidisciplinary collaboration from the concept stage through schematic design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop architectural concepts for diverse project categories such as residential, commercial, hospitality, and mixed-use developments.
  • Assist senior architects and design leaders in defining design briefs through research, analysis, and coordination with clients and consultants.
  • Create compelling design deliverables including sketches, diagrams, 3D models, and renderings that clearly communicate design intent.
  • Support junior team members by sharing expertise, guiding design work, and keeping outputs aligned with project goals.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to assess feasibility and help move concepts into detailed design stages.
  • Keep up with emerging architectural trends, materials, and technologies and apply relevant ideas to strengthen design outcomes.
  • Take part in client meetings, design workshops, and presentations, contributing to reviews and project discussions.

Qualifications

  • A professional qualification in Architecture, such as B.Arch, M.Arch, or an equivalent degree.
  • At least 8 years of professional architectural experience.
  • Demonstrated capability in contributing to early-stage design for medium to large-scale projects.
  • Strong command of Revit for design and documentation, along with working knowledge of Rhino, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and AutoCAD.
  • Familiarity with parametric design tools such as Grasshopper is considered an added advantage.
  • Excellent hand sketching, visual communication, and presentation skills.
  • Good collaboration and communication abilities for working within multidisciplinary teams.
  • Understanding of sustainable and innovative design methods, with the ability to incorporate them into project work.
