Architect - Fit-Out (Luxury Hospitality)

Job Overview

We are inviting applications for a seasoned Architect specializing in luxury hospitality fit-out projects to join our Riyadh team. This key role involves leading the architectural design and execution phases of upscale hotel interiors, ensuring that the vision is realized effectively within the stipulated timeline, budget, quality standards, and client expectations.

Primary Duties

• Contribute to the development and finalization of architectural fit-out designs and detailed technical drawings tailored for hospitality sector projects.
• Create and revise architectural plans, shop drawings, and detailed documentation utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, and complementary design tools.
• Collaborate with engineering teams, external consultants, and contractors to synchronize architectural activities.
• Analyze drawings and specifications to verify compliance with design criteria and project scope.
• Conduct site visits to observe construction progress, ensuring fit-out works adhere to approved plans and quality demands.
• Assist in the preparation of material submissions, visual presentations, and comprehensive project paperwork.
• Work closely with project teams to troubleshoot and resolve design challenges arising during construction.
• Support scheduling and planning efforts to guarantee timely completion of design deliverables.
• Maintain awareness of current industry trends, innovative materials, and best practices within hospitality fit-out design and execution.
• Adhere strictly to company quality benchmarks and actively support health, safety, and environmental protocols on site.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Architectural Engineering is mandatory.
• A minimum of 7 years professional practice, including at least 5 years concentrated on luxury hotel fit-out projects.
• Demonstrated track record overseeing high-end hospitality interiors from initial concept through construction completion and handover.
• Deep knowledge of architectural detailing, fit-out construction practices, finishing material specifications, and technical documentation.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other standard architectural design software suites.
• Experience managing coordination with consultants, construction contractors, suppliers, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong familiarity with both local building regulations and international codes.
• Working knowledge of ERP platforms; specific experience with SAP considered beneficial.
• Prior exposure to projects within GCC countries is highly preferred.
• Exceptional communication, presentation skills coupled with problem-solving aptitude and ability to manage stakeholders effectively.
• Leadership qualities, strong organizational skills, and capacity to mentor junior professionals effectively.
• Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment effectively.
