About the Studio
Dezcon is a Sydney architecture and interior design practice focused on premium residential homes and custom interior spaces. The studio’s approach is architecture-first: each commission starts with a clear architectural concept, and the interiors are shaped as a thoughtful continuation of that idea. Maintaining strong design quality is a core principle throughout the full project journey.
About the Opportunity
With the studio expanding, Dezcon is looking for a senior-level team member to join the practice — either a registered Architect or an Experienced Graduate of Architecture with more than 10 years of practical experience in residential work. The role will involve close collaboration with the Director and wider studio team on high-end residential projects, with responsibility across both design and technical delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Guide design development and support architectural planning across projects
- Produce and coordinate architectural documentation using Revit
- Develop and refine floor plans, façades, and detailed architectural elements
- Prepare and oversee DA and CDC application submissions
- Liaise with consultants such as structural, stormwater, and services engineers
- Assist with client-facing presentations and design communication materials
- Carry projects through the construction documentation stage
What the Role Requires
- Registration as an Architect, or qualification as an Experienced Graduate of Architecture with at least 10 years of hands-on experience
- Substantial experience delivering residential projects in New South Wales
- Advanced capability in Revit
- Demonstrated experience leading documentation and managing consultant coordination
- Strong precision and the ability to handle several project stages at once
- A refined design mindset and commitment to high-quality outcomes
