About the Studio
Woods Bagot is a globally recognized, award-winning architecture and design practice focused on shaping future-ready places and city-defining projects. The Sydney studio is entering an exciting phase, with significant projects planned for 2026. Based in Sydney, this role offers the opportunity to contribute to complex, high-profile work while collaborating with an international network where strong ideas and design quality have real influence.
The firm is part of the 7C Total Place Design Network, a wholly owned group of leading place-focused brands that includes ERA-co, Impact Futures, Woods Bagot, and Customs Bureau.
Role Overview
The studio is looking for Architects and Designers with strong residential design experience. The ideal candidate brings creativity grounded in empathy, aspiration, imagination, and meaningful impact, and is comfortable working across different stages of practice.
What You Will Do
- Contribute to residential architecture projects across a variety of scales and phases.
- Support the Sydney studio on ambitious, high-profile design work.
- Develop and present design ideas, technical solutions, and project documentation.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders in a client-focused environment.
- Use design tools and workflows to support concept development and project delivery.
Candidate Profile
- Proven background in residential architecture, suitable for candidates at multiple career stages.
- Master of Architecture qualification.
- Architectural registration is an advantage.
- A portfolio that clearly demonstrates your design thinking, key projects, and technical capability.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident interpersonal skills and a service-oriented approach to clients.
- Hands-on experience with Revit and Rhino.
