About the Role
Zodiac Solutions, Inc. is hiring an Archer Business Analyst to facilitate the delivery of Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) enterprise solutions on the Archer SaaS platform. This position serves as a crucial intermediary linking business stakeholders with technical teams to ensure that requirements are properly captured and translated into scalable, compliant solutions aligned with risk and regulatory standards, emphasizing Quality Assurance (QA).
Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements through direct engagement with stakeholders via workshops and interviews.
- Convert requirements into detailed user stories, functional specifications, and process flows matching Archer platform capabilities.
- Assist with the design and configuration of Archer applications including workflows, questionnaires, reports, and data models.
- Create and execute test cases that reflect business needs and acceptance criteria; support system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and manage defect tracking and resolution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to establish test strategies, review test cases, and validate system functionalities.
- Participate actively in Agile processes such as backlog grooming, sprint planning, and release support.
- Maintain clear, comprehensive documentation including business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specification documents (FSDs), data mappings, user guides, test plans, and results.
- Support the creation of reports and dashboards for risk, audit, and regulatory stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Between 3 to 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst specifically in Archer platforms.
- Experience with Archer Evolv is essential.
- Strong skills in eliciting requirements, documenting processes, and engaging with stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of risk management, compliance, or audit procedures.
- Experience working with Agile and/or Waterfall project delivery methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proven involvement in QA activities including test planning, test case generation, and UAT support.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with primary Archer use cases such as Operational Risk, IT Risk, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM), and Audit Management.
- Familiarity with system integrations involving APIs, ETL processes, and data mapping.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory standards like SOX, OSFI, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
- Professional certifications like CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum, or Archer-specific certifications are advantageous.
- Prior experience supporting significant GRC or transformative programs.
