Application Engineer

About the Role

A prominent Industrial Manufacturing firm is seeking an Application Engineer to be stationed in Doha, Qatar. This role focuses on providing technical guidance and support for Air Handling Unit (AHU) selection and ensuring project specifications are met with appropriate equipment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in AHU selection by delivering technical advice aligned with project demands.
• Evaluate specifications, technical drawings, and documents to confirm equipment suitability.
• Develop technical submittals, prepare quotations, and compile compliance documentation.
• Offer technical assistance to sales personnel, clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams to furnish timely and precise project support.
• Respond to technical inquiries and address customer requirements.

Candidate Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Have over three years of experience in HVAC application engineering, with preference for those experienced in AHUs.
• Demonstrate solid understanding of HVAC design fundamentals and air distribution systems.
• Experience collaborating with HVAC consultants, contractors, and working on Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC equipment selection and related technical documentation.
• Proficient in interpreting HVAC drawings and specifications.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to engage directly with customers.
• Availability to attend face-to-face interviews at the specified location.
