Role Overview

Join our dedicated team as an Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Specialist where you will play a crucial role in protecting financial systems by investigating suspicious transactions and ensuring compliance with AML regulations. This position demands a meticulous and proactive individual with the ability to analyze complex financial data and collaborate with regulatory and law enforcement agencies.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed investigations of potentially illicit financial activities and transactions
• Collaborate and communicate effectively with regulatory authorities, law enforcement, and internal departments
• Support audits and compliance reviews related to anti-money laundering processes
• Maintain documentation consistent with Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) standards
• Utilize AML software tools to facilitate investigations and workflow management

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in AML investigations or compliance roles
• Strong knowledge of AML laws, regulations, and best practices
• Preferred certifications such as Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS)
• Experience using AML investigative software such as Actimize, Hogan, Lexus, or SQL query tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail

Desirable Skills

• Familiarity with workflow management systems and investigation procedures
• Experience with SAR filing and regulatory documentation
• Support for audit processes and compliance review initiatives
