Overview
We are looking for a committed Operations Officer III to join our team, focusing on the execution of important EFTR regulatory reporting tasks. Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough independent examinations of EFTR data inconsistencies and incomplete records to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Correct EFTR records by performing detailed data validation, reconciliation, and handling exceptions.
- Work alongside various internal teams to address complex challenges, escalate risks when necessary, and drive process improvements.
- Assist in internal audits and regulatory reviews by supplying detailed documentation and insights.
- Keep updated with evolving AML and EFTR regulatory mandates and support the enhancement of existing procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 1.5 years of progressive experience with FINTRAC EFTR regulatory reporting.
- Ability to independently manage moderately to highly complex operational activities.
- Strong skills using MS Office applications.
- Excellent attention to detail, heightened risk awareness, and strong organizational capabilities.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience working in banking or other financial institutions.
- Additional credentials or knowledge related to AML operations.
- Experience working in fast-paced and collaborative team environments.
Education and Work Background
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- Between 2 to 4 years of overall experience in financial services, with notable involvement in AML regulatory reporting.
