Role Overview

The position of Angel Investor at Ecosun Power Solutions is a fully remote full-time role dedicated to fostering the company's expansion and influence in the renewable energy sector. The incumbent will rigorously assess investment prospects related to current and upcoming projects, analyze business plans and financial models, and provide strategic counsel to enhance operational scalability and market penetration. Collaboration with senior management will be integral to refining financial strategies, evaluating risks, and prioritizing initiatives that promote sustainable growth. The Angel Investor will attend regular virtual meetings, mentor on governance and fiscal discipline, and facilitate networking with other investors and strategic partners.

Qualifications and Skills

Proven background in angel investing, venture capital, or private equity with focus areas preferably in energy, infrastructure, or technology industries.
Expertise in financial analysis, valuation methods, and portfolio oversight, capable of interpreting business plans and cash flow forecasts.
Familiarity with renewable energy markets, solar EPC frameworks, or clean technology trends, coupled with a commitment to sustainability-driven ventures.
Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to effectively connect with founders, leadership, and external parties.
Strategic advisory prowess, including experience in business scaling, governance enhancement, and long-term growth planning.
Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently in a remote environment, manage workloads efficiently, and maintain ongoing leadership engagement.
Educational background comprising a bachelor's degree in finance, business, engineering, or related disciplines; advanced degrees or professional certifications are advantageous.
Experience with early-stage startups, accelerators, or impact investment initiatives is highly desirable.
