Job description
Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Analytical Product Sales Specialist Leader to propel growth and provide expert technical leadership across our portfolio of analytical science instruments.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement strategic sales initiatives to meet revenue goals.
- Discover and expand new business opportunities across diverse sectors including pharmaceutical, clinical, environmental, food, petrochemical, academic, biotechnology, research, and government labs.
- Oversee the entire sales process from lead generation to contract finalization.
- Conduct advanced technical presentations, seminars, product demos, and workflow consultations.
- Establish and nurture strong partnerships with clients, key industry opinion leaders, and global suppliers.
- Support tender processes, quotation development, pricing policies, and business planning efforts.
- Guide and mentor junior sales and application professionals.
- Collaborate closely with service, application, marketing, and operations teams to deliver comprehensive laboratory solutions.
Technical Expertise
- Experience with a broad range of analytical instrumentation such as LC-MS/MS, GC-MS/MS, Triple Quadrupole MS, High Resolution MS (HRMS), QTOF, Orbitrap, MALDI-TOF, ICP-MS, HPLC & UHPLC, Gas Chromatography (GC), Ion Chromatography (IC), UV-Vis Spectroscopy, FTIR, Raman Spectroscopy, Atomic Absorption (AAS), ICP-OES, TOC Analyzers, Laboratory Automation, and Sample Preparation Systems.
Application Knowledge
- Familiarity with pharmaceutical analysis, clinical diagnostics and toxicology, therapeutic drug monitoring, newborn screening, proteomics, metabolomics, lipidomics, food safety, environmental & water testing, petrochemical analysis, forensic science, veterinary diagnostics, industrial quality control, and life science/academic research.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Master’s or PhD degrees are advantageous.
- Between 5 and 10 years’ experience in analytical instrumentation sales, applications, or laboratory operations.
- Demonstrated success selling high-value analytical laboratory equipment.
- Strong technical foundation in mass spectrometry, chromatography, and spectroscopy.
- Experience delivering scientific presentations to laboratory managers, researchers, clinicians, and decision-makers.
Preferred Industry Knowledge
- Method development and validation, GLP/GMP standards, ISO 17025, ISO 15189, CAP/CLIA laboratory environments, and laboratory workflows including automation.
Skills
- Outstanding presentation and communication capabilities.
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and business development skills.
- Familiarity with CRM systems and sales forecasting.
- Proficiency in English is essential; Arabic knowledge is a plus.
Preferred Industry Background
- Experience in analytical instrumentation, clinical diagnostics, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, environmental testing, food testing, petrochemical, government laboratories, academic and research institutions, CROs, and contract testing laboratories.
