About the Role
Our client is a well-respected Asia-focused private equity investment firm that partners with general partners, founders, management teams, and investors to generate long-term value through disciplined capital allocation and active portfolio management. They have an impressive track record spanning several decades and continue expanding across the region.
Primary Responsibilities

- Facilitate limited partner engagement through meeting preparations, agenda setting, briefing notes, CRM data management, and pipeline tracking.
- Collaborate with the Events and Marketing team in planning and executing investor-facing events such as annual general meetings, investor conferences, and portfolio field trips, including preparing presentation materials, coordinating stakeholders, managing logistics, and following up post-event.
- Oversee investor due diligence questionnaires, requests for information, and related diligence tasks by coordinating among internal departments, managing deadlines, version control, approvals, and escalating pending items.
- Work closely with investment, finance, legal, compliance, and senior leadership teams to ensure that all materials are accurate, consistent, and aligned with corporate messaging and positioning.
- Lead the preparation of quarterly progress reports for limited partners by gathering inputs from multiple teams and ensuring clarity and accuracy.
- Coordinate with the investment and finance teams to validate fund metrics, portfolio KPIs, valuation data, and performance statistics, ensuring they are transparent and well-presented.
- Create detailed charts, tables, and slide decks to effectively communicate key performance drivers, risk factors, and portfolio developments.
- Draft and assist the production of market updates, macroeconomic commentary, white papers, sector analyses, and other thought leadership content targeted at investors.
- Stay updated on trends in Asian private markets, fundraising environments, exit opportunities, portfolio construction strategies, and limited partner allocation patterns.
- Consolidate third-party research, public market information, and internal investment insights into succinct and differentiated written outputs.
- Adopt AI and automation tools responsibly to enhance research, drafting, data management, due diligence workflows, investor reporting, and fundraising processes.
- Develop standardized templates, tracking tools, prompts, and workflows to boost productivity, consistency, and scalability.
- Ensure confidentiality, data accuracy, source validation, and rigorous human review when leveraging AI-enabled technologies.
- Identify and implement improvements to make investor relations and fundraising workflows more efficient, scalable, and less reliant on manual tasks.
Candidate Profile

- Between two and three years of professional experience in a relevant field.
- Exceptional writing abilities capable of simplifying complex financial topics in a clear and precise manner.
- Comfortable interacting directly with investors, senior colleagues, and diverse internal stakeholders.
