Role overview

This on-site role in Bengaluru sits within Lowe’s Omni Fulfilment team and focuses on improving last-mile delivery performance across channels. The work supports a customer-first fulfillment setup that balances cost, enhances delivery options, and helps grow revenue and profit.

About Lowe’s and Lowe’s India

Lowe’s is a FORTUNE 100 home improvement retailer serving around 16 million customer transactions each week in the United States. In fiscal year 2024, the company reported sales of more than $83 billion, operated over 1,700 stores, and employed about 300,000 associates. Lowe’s India is the company’s Global Capability Center in Bengaluru, with more than 4,500 associates, and supports technology, business, analytics, and shared services across omnichannel retail, AI/ML, enterprise architecture, supply chain, and customer experience.

Team focus

The Bangalore Omni Fulfilment team performs analysis at the node and mode level for last-mile deliveries. Its goal is to build a stronger fulfillment ecosystem that offers competitive delivery choices and a better customer experience while improving omni-fulfillment revenue and profitability.

What the role aims to do

The analyst will help evaluate, design, implement, and scale initiatives that improve last-mile operations and business outcomes. The position involves building and rolling out projects, process enhancements, and best practices, while also developing technical and functional capabilities to support the broader objective of frictionless fulfillment. The role also includes partnering with peers to solve problems collaboratively.

Key responsibilities

  • Study fulfillment performance across channels such as Gig, Lowe’s Delivery, PUIS, and BOPIS to spot trends and operational bottlenecks.
  • Write SQL queries to pull, combine, and work with large volumes of order fulfillment and logistics data.
  • Use Python to automate repetitive data work and apply statistical or machine learning methods for demand forecasting, scenario simulation, and risk prediction such as shipment delays.
  • Work with large-scale data platforms such as Hive, Spark, and Hadoop to examine fulfillment behavior across millions of transactions.
  • Evaluate the business effect of changes such as routing improvements, pricing and delivery option optimization, curbside pickup upgrades, and smart sourcing approaches.
  • Convert analytical findings into clear recommendations that shape fulfillment strategy, process improvements, and technology investments.
  • Provide fast-response analysis for leadership questions related to performance, outages, delays, and customer satisfaction.

Experience required

The role calls for 2+ years of overall experience, including at least 2 years in a data analyst, business analyst, or supply chain analytics position, 2 years in supply chain, 2+ years in reporting and data analytics, and 2+ years in project management.

Education and qualification

A bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Supply Chain, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, or a related discipline is required. An MBA or master’s degree in Supply Chain is also listed as a required qualification.

Skills and capabilities

This role needs strong analytical ability, domain knowledge in fulfillment and logistics, and comfort working with both internal and external data sources. Core technical capabilities include SQL, Python, big-data tooling, visualization, and statistical modeling. The position also demands strong communication, business understanding, collaboration, and the ability to work effectively with ambiguous requirements in a fast-moving environment.

Workplace and company details

The position is based in Lowe’s on-site Bengaluru office, which offers a modern workplace with advanced technology, collaborative spaces, an on-site gym, an on-site clinic, and additional employee-friendly amenities.
