Position Overview
The FP&A Analyst supporting the Americas Supply Chain will operate under the direction of the Senior Manager of FP&A, focusing on multiple Supply Chain functions such as Distribution Centers across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico, Inbound and Outbound Logistics, Customer Service, Inventory management, and Supply Chain administrative duties within the Americas region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive understanding of the Supply Chain organization to deliver financial analytics and decision-making support for leadership across all related functions.
- Ensure the accuracy of financial reporting and analysis for the Americas Supply Chain, identifying risks and opportunities through maintenance and enhancement of reporting tools including AI, BPC, and SAP.
- Collaborate with cost center managers and finance teams during budgeting, month-end and quarter-end close cycles, and forecasting to assess Supply Chain performance against budgets and forecasts.
- Aggregate Supply Chain expenditures and analytical data across all Americas functions to support financial planning and operational strategy.
- Assist in preparing executive-level presentations, reports, and tools for leadership review alongside senior FP&A management.
- Provide support for ad hoc financial and operational initiatives including reporting improvements, financial reconciliation projects, and other special assignments requested by senior management.
- Recommend process improvements through critical review of current business and financial processes, aiming to standardize reporting and enhance financial analysis across all regions.
- Lead monthly and quarterly total distribution expense reporting, supporting the budgeting and forecasting processes in coordination with senior finance leadership.
- Gain knowledge in product cost reporting and assist with the preparation of quarterly reports.
- Analyze short-term and long-term business trends across Supply Chain functions using key performance indicators sourced from multiple business areas.
- Support project management duties such as coordinating meetings, tracking progress, and handling documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related quantitative field, or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong ability to interpret financial statements, analyze outcomes, and highlight critical issues.
- Experience in financial principles including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
- Project management capabilities with strong organizational and collaborative skills to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills, both oral and written, that simplify complex financial concepts for management understanding.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with AI technologies, ERP systems such as SAP, financial reporting solutions like Hyperion, Microsoft Excel, and other MS Office applications.
Compensation and Benefits
The annual salary for this role ranges from $62,208 to $77,760 USD. In addition, this position qualifies for incentive compensation programs which may include annual incentive plans, sales incentives, or commissions. Specific incentive information will be shared during the recruitment process.
