Role Overview
This position is for a Financial Analyst within the Commercial Finance function, focused on the U.S. business for Clé de Peau Beauté. The role works closely with Sales, Marketing, Accounting, and Operations to turn financial data into insights that support revenue growth, margin improvement, and day-to-day commercial decisions. The scope includes budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and support for initiatives aimed at revenue expansion and cost efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and help drive the month-end close process by coordinating with accounting and internal business partners.
- Review actual results against budget, the latest forecast, and the previous year to identify the main causes behind performance changes.
- Draft financial commentary that explains trends, key risks, and potential opportunities.
- Monitor gross margin performance at both product and customer/channel levels.
- Take ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for the U.S. commercial profit and loss statement.
- Evaluate pricing initiatives and promotional spending to measure how effective they are commercially.
- Work with Sales, Marketing, and Operations on forecast support, business cases, and ad hoc analysis.
- Update and improve financial models and reporting tools so they remain accurate and provide practical insights.
- Be prepared to take on additional duties that support the organization’s mission, vision, and values.
Candidate Profile
- At least 1 year of experience in financial analysis, commercial finance, FP&A, or a similar function.
- A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or another related discipline.
- Advanced Excel ability, including financial modeling, pivot tables, and standard financial formulas.
- Strong analytical judgment with the ability to convert data into clear business recommendations.
- Comfortable communicating with colleagues outside finance and partnering across functions.
- Good understanding of P&L structure, margin behavior, and commercial drivers.
- Capability to handle several priorities in a fast-moving environment while maintaining accuracy.
Compensation and Benefits
The role offers a base salary range of $70,080 to $96,360 per year. Pay may differ depending on location, and the final offer will also reflect job-specific knowledge, education, skills, and experience. In addition to base pay, the company may provide bonus eligibility and a broader total rewards package.
